The establishment fee is the cost of activating a fully managed commercial mandate, charged when the mandate is accepted. It covers the initial work required to make the mandate market-ready and deploy Commerce One’s commercial origination system.
The establishment fee does not purchase unlimited work indefinitely. From month 2, active execution continues under Active Mandate Management; mandate duration, territories, transaction scope and commission entitlement are defined in the mandate agreement.
From month 2, where the principal elects to continue active execution, the management fee covers:
The fee applies only while Commerce One continues active execution under the agreed mandate scope. It is separately earned and is not credited against future success participation.
Agree it before launch. The exact rate, commission base, exclusions, attribution rules, entitlement period and repeat-business treatment are agreed before market activation.
Protect originated relationships. Counterparties introduced and developed by Commerce One are documented so qualifying business can be attributed consistently.
Apply the rate to qualifying transactions. When the agreed transaction trigger occurs, Commerce One’s success commission is calculated against the contractual commission base.
Mandate economics
Commerce One’s standard mandate model is a US$5,000 establishment fee, US$1,500/month Active Mandate Management from month 2 while execution continues, and 5%–15% success participation on the qualifying transaction base defined in the mandate. The monthly fee is separately earned and is not credited against future success participation.
Illustrative fee mechanics only. Not a quote, transaction forecast or guarantee.
Figures exclude applicable taxes.
Active Mandate Management is not credited against success participation.
The signed mandate defines the success percentage, commission base, exclusions, entitlement period, repeat-business treatment and payment terms.

Yes. Where agreed in the mandate, qualifying repeat transactions, reorders, renewals or protected-account business may remain commissionable for the defined entitlement period.
Not automatically. Commerce One uses one global pricing framework and does not apply a standard regional surcharge. Exceptionally complex mandates may be subject to bespoke terms agreed before commencement.
The Active Mandate Management fee applies only while Commerce One continues active execution. Existing protected opportunities, account rights and commission entitlements remain subject to the mandate agreement.
Not by default. In the standard model, the underlying buyer and supplier contract and settle their trade directly. Commerce One invoices its appointing principal for agreed fees and commission.
